We’re looking for a Creative Director to lead the creative strategy and creative delivery for our clients
- Leading brainstorming sessions, with a holistic thinking around strategy and creative points of view on brand experience, including how a business acts, how a brand looks, or how a vision comes to life
- Creative thinking to deliver concepts in line with briefs and collaborating with creative teams, including designers, copywriters, and developers
- Interrogating and rewriting briefs
- Giving critiques, expressing your point of view and guiding the team through projects
- Creating an environment that inspires the team to think and contribute to projects
- Stepping in to help the team with design, development, and copywriting
- Own quality assurance across all deliverables
- Handling client expectations and helping streamline processes to increase efficiency
- Ensure robust project frameworks and workflow processes are in place to guide the team and client through projects
- Delivering high quality results consistently and to budget
- Challenging the client and looking for opportunities across their business to make improvements to their marketing and branding
- Creating presentations and presenting projects
- Reporting and using data to tell stories and make informed decisions going forward
- Upselling the agencies services where opportunities arise
- Being a trusted advisor to clients and main point of contact
- 3rd party and supplier management and relations
- Hiring new team members
- Have a critical understanding of visual, verbal, design, copy, advertising, marketing communication and adherence to best practice
- A strong sense of audience, positioning, and brand
- A relevant qualification in design
- Minimum seven years experience in a senior creative role
- A proven track record of building and leading a strong creative team that delivers commercial results
- Experience working with BOTH B2B and B2C brands
- Knowledge of project management software
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Basic understanding of WordPress builders
- Knowledge of technical and strategic SEO
- Knowledge of productisation processes and ability to advise clients on opportunities to streamline and rework their offerings
- Ability to work independently as well as lead team sessions
- Ability to help with proposals, quoting, and pitching
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and make logical, reasoned decisions quickly
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously—while juggling your own responsibilities and checking in with the team
- Ability to think laterally
- Ability to switch between projects quickly
- Ability to research and deep dive into unfamiliar topics and become an expert on our clients’ industries
- Ability to speak on a conceptual creative level, as well as a business ROI-driven level
- Ability to learn quickly, and be self-sufficient in problem solving
- Ability to research and formulate key ideas, and boil them down into tight concepts and messaging
Nice to have:
- Experience in Telecoms, IoT, and tech
- Good knowledge of WordPress website maintenance, security, hosting, and plugins
- Ability to resolve technical issues and be a technical support for the team—escalations will come to you
- Knowledge of CRMs including HubSpot and Zoho
- Knowledge of building integrations and automating processes using Zapier
