TalkTalk | Virtual1

TalkTalk are one of the UK’s largest providers of wholesale connectivity, and are well-regarded within the channel. They offer businesses the flexibility, agility, and support they need to stand out from the competition and increase revenue. In November 2022, they joined forces with Virtual1, with an ambition to leverage the power of connectivity and utilise new technologies to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry.

Joining forces

TalkTalk Wholesale Services and Virtual1 are two iconic brands, each with their own distinctive style and tone-of-voice. They were looking to enrich and inspire their partners, showcasing how they can utilise connectivity to enhance their portfolio and leverage new markets. And they wanted to combine their respective brands to showcase a successful, flourishing partnership. To make this happen, they needed to make a splash. That’s where we came in.

The solution

Putting on a show

We designed, developed, and delivered an event in the heart of London to connect TalkTalk Wholesale Services and Virtual1 in a more meaningful way than ever before. Taking place on May 23rd 2023, the event ran, theatre-style, from midday through to the early evening. Throughout the day we helped to tell the story of their partnership, heard from industry experts, and hosted an award ceremony.

We crafted messages based around the concept of ‘boundless momentum’ — highlighting the partnership’s relentless drive for progress, and the limitless possibilities which arrive from connectivity.

Our designers conceived a bold, sophisticated, and vibrant visual style which was applied meticulously across the event. Chevron shapes were implemented across assets to encapsulate the concepts of ‘guidance’ and ‘momentum’, whilst also doubling as a directional tool throughout the event space.

Collateral

From stunning signage and snappy showreels to branded brochures, awards, lanyards, notebooks, pens, and everything in between — we didn’t miss an opportunity to deliver on our message. And to seal the event’s success, our copy team crafted social posts, e-mails, and other promotional assets.

The result

Rave reviews all round

The event was oversubscribed, with the team exceeding the number of target registrations. And those who did manage to get the hottest ticket in town left feeling informed, engaged, and utterly enthralled.

Most importantly we gave TalkTalk Wholesale Services and Virtual1 a night befitting of their new partnership. With expert speakers, panel discussions and an award ceremony highlighting inspiring work within the industry, we helped show everyone in attendance the power of a connected future.
